Banco Estado Microempresas is part of the only state-owned bank in Chile, and specializes in serving the finance needs of entrepreneurs and micro-entrepreneurs. In 2013 Great Place to Work selected it as Chile’s best place to work.
The challenge was to provide a better user experience, which increased employee participation by developing a new digital communication ecosystem based on the company’s corporate intranet.
A dynamic platform that works as a corporate network, an HR management system, a social network, a means of communication, an online marketplace, and a radio, among other things. All of this is done to strengthen the sense of community through the use of the platform.
The new BEME Al Día intranet allowed hundreds of workers to access a modern platform that can be accessed from all kinds of devices, pushing corporate communications to a level of greater social participation, in keeping with the organization’s strong corporate culture.
More than 1,000 users access the platform every day.

Strengthen the organizational culture
Encouraging participation was one of the project’s central themes.
We developed the website and App, creating informative, social, administrative and transactional channels, which allowed for a collaborative network focused on continuous and effective communication.
We seek to constantly improve the platform by developing and deploying new features with a view to enhancing the experience of users, listening to their needs and spotting new trends that can be aligned with the company's objectives.
